A desire for walkability has been a common theme at the first two Quadrant discovery workshops. Manchester is fortunate in that we already have many walkable residential neighborhoods. What kind of community and place does Manchester want to be and how are we going to get there? “Manchester 2020", Manchester's recently adopted Plan of Conservation and Development, is the blueprint for improving the quality of life for all Manchester residents. We have a lot of work to do to make the plan a reality. There will be many opportunities for you to participate in this process. Otis Street got a 74 (92 is tops) - of course, there were some problems with the data. NO schools were found despite St. James at the end of the street and other schools not that far from us (including MCC). In addition, a short walk to Main St and one can pick up a CT Transit bus. No transportation data was available - this survey is FLAWED. Our street should have scored higher!
